The Holiday Inn Warsaw-Józefów Has welcomed its first guests

Developer Aquila Park (AP) has opened its Holiday Inn Warszawa-Józefów, the first in a series of hotel-conference centers the firm is building across Poland. “We got the chance to invest in a great area and a build a very high-standard hotel hotel and conference complex,” says Marcin Górzyński, president of AP’s board. AP invested more than 20 million euros in the project designed by PRC Architekci.

The four-star hotel offers 148 rooms in a modern facility on 11 ha of wooded land. It also offers 11 conference halls, with a total capacity of 600 people and total area of 650 sqm. The entire complex is equipped with modern building-management systems and multi-media conference-center equipment, in addition to spa and recreational facilities such a six-hole golf course, driving range and tennis courts.

Over the course of the next seven years, AP plans to build 10 holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express and Crowne Plaza hotels in Katowice, Łódź, Poznań, Wrocław and Zakopane. Construction of the Wrocław hotel is to begin next year. The hotels are to be managed by Aquila Hotels (AH), a subsidiary created by AP.

“Aquila Hotels is open to cooperation with any investor interested in building a hotel. We believe our hotel management services will be of great use, especially before Euro 2012”, says Mariusz Stolarz, president of AH’s managing board.
